Ajith Medis is a Sri Lanka citizen with wide experience in many facets. Started his career as Sales Representative and got promoted to a Sales Manager within a very short period of three years and moved on to work in a Japanese trading firm. Then shifted to the financial services industry and by the time he joined the academia, he was responsible for more than 80% of the income of a leading Investment Bank in Sri Lanka. During his 15 years of academic life, he has contributed immensely to establish a dynamic working culture in the university and also for the development of the University by representing many committees and posts. During the last 15 years he has been working as a marketing consultant to many Sri Lankan and overseas companies/institutions and also as an experiential coach in customer service, sales excellence and motivation. He has mastered training of public and private sector working executives in the areas of both soft skills and technical skills development by conducting over 800 programs and trained over 30000 employees.
