The much-anticipated GreatMinds | EntreTalks 2025 was successfully concluded on 12th September at the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies Auditorium, University of Kelaniya. Organized by the Future Marketers Association of the University of Kelaniya, the event stood out as a vibrant platform to empower aspiring entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka through knowledge-sharing, inspiration, and real-life experiences from some of the country’s finest entrepreneurial leaders.

The event revolved around a dynamic panel discussion featuring five outstanding entrepreneurs:

The discussion also addressed thought-provoking questions such as how entrepreneurs can balance traditional business principles with modern approaches while maintaining consistency, focus, and a growth mindset; the strategies required to take a brand into the global market; how young entrepreneurs can grow and maintain a loyal community; and the importance of adaptability and financial discipline, along with the steps small businesses can take to build these qualities early. These insights not only engaged the audience but also motivated them to think bigger and approach entrepreneurship with confidence and resilience.

What made the event even more remarkable was the diverse and passionate audience it brought together. The gathering included undergraduates, students and teachers from Ananda College and Zahira College, MSMEs from across Sri Lanka, as well as many other aspiring individuals keen to gain knowledge and inspiration. Their enthusiasm, questions, and active participation created a vibrant atmosphere that added immense value to the entire experience.
