GLAMORA 2.0: WHERE FASHION INSPIRES CREATIVITY & TALENT

GLAMORA 2.0 the annual Fashion show organized by the Department of Marketing Management, University of Kelaniya was held on a grand scale on the 27th January 2025 with the participation of 30 models and 15 designers who were selected from over 100 models and 50 designers. The show was organized on the main theme of ‘Elements’ giving scope for the designers and models to get the most out of their skill of creativity.

The final show was graced by many exciting performances including a breathtaking Violin performance, an act based on elements showing the beauty and connection of Water, Fire, Wind, and Earth, and a fusion musical performance. We had some amazing partners including Rustic Creations and La Vivente who sponsored the first two segments of the final fashion show with their creative resort and office wear items. The final segment was graced by the designs created by our very own designers on the main theme of Elements bringing together the spirit of creativity and style within them.

Udari Alwis was awarded the Best Designer title, while Isanka Pradeep and Saara Jayakody received the Most Popular Model titles in the Male and Female categories, respectively.  Abdul Rasheed was awarded the Best Model title in the Male Category, while Theekshana Nirmani received the Best Model title in the Female Category. 

Glamora 2.0 was a night to remember—an unforgettable experience for all Marketing undergraduates and attendees alike. It unveiled hidden talents and sparked a wave of creativity in design, style, and fashion, all driven by exceptional skill.
