Prof. Renuka Herath was appointed as the New Head of the Department of Marketing Management, University of Kelaniya. The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Bandara Wanninayake, handed the appointment letter to the Head on the 5th of June 2023 at the Department of Marketing Management premises. Prof. Renuka Herath is a Professor in Marketing attached to the Department of Marketing Management.

She holds a Ph.D. from Newcastle University, UK. She is known in the industry as an experienced professor with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Strategic Planning, Lecturing, Business Strategy, Higher Education, and Business Analysis, and exceptional academics. 

Her professional expertise is being utilized in the University and the industry in various capacities. She is the Chairperson of WiLAT Sri Lanka, and a member of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport International. Prof. Renuka Herath is a dedicated, resourceful, and goal-driven personality with a solid commitment to creating a stimulating and encouraging atmosphere for everyone in the University’s academia.
