Unilever Sri Lanka signs MoU with Department of Marketing Management, University of Kelaniya

The Department of Marketing Management of University of Kelaniya has taken many initiatives to bridge the gap between the industry and academia. As a part of the process, on 25th of November 2022, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Department of Marketing Management of University of Kelaniya and Unilever Sri Lanka to nurture the undergraduates while making them industry ready. As a Strategic Partner, Unilever Sri Lanka will guide and collaboratively work with the undergraduates who are following Bachelor of Business Management Honours in Marketing degree and Bachelor of Business Management Honours in Digital Marketing degree.

Further with this collaboration, Unilever Sri Lanka also joins hands as one of the Strategic Partners for “Certified Professional Marketing Graduates” (CPMG) offered by the Department of Marketing Management of University of Kelaniya for their outstanding fresh graduates.

Cadre Chair & Senior Prof. Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor - University of Kelaniya and Ms. Ananya Sabharwal, Director, Unilever Sri Lanka signed the MoU on behalf of the respective organisations and the event was graced by the presence of Mr. K. K. K. Dharmathilaka, Registrar – University of Kelaniya, Dr. Narada Fernando, Dean- Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, Prof. Ravi Dissanayake, Head - Department of Marketing Management, Ms. Keshavi Puswawela -Senior HR Business Partner - Corporate Functions and T&O & Employer Brand Lead Sri Lanka, other faculty members, students and other representatives from Unilever Sri Lanka.
