Investment Week 2025

The Finance Students’ Association, Department of Finance, University of Kelaniya Department organized Investment Week 2025 in collaboration with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to promote financial awareness and empowerment.

Under the theme “Empowering Minds through Financial Literacy” the initiative featured multiple sessions for school students, undergraduates, academic and non-academic staff and industry professionals.

The programme began with a School Outreach Programme on 13th October at Gankanda Central College, Pelmadulla reaching over 1,000 students, followed by two sessions on 15th October for university stakeholders. Topics included budgeting, digital finance, financial scams and investment opportunities conducted with the support of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) and First Capital Asset Management Limited.
