Certificate Awarding Ceremony of Diploma in Marketing and Higher Diploma in Marketing

The certificate awarding ceremony of the Diploma in Marketing and Higher Diploma in Marketing offered by the Department of Marketing Management (DMM), University of Kelaniya was held on 20th February 2022 with the participation of Dr. P. N. D. Fernando - Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies as the Chief Guest. Both these programmes were introduced with the prime objective of providing higher educational opportunities for the students who are unable to enter state universities after their Advanced Level Examination.
Ninety-six students were awarded the Diploma in Marketing while sixty-five students were awarded the Higher Diploma in Marketing by creating them possibilities to excel in career and further education. Mr. Rajitha Kariyawasan, Managing Director of Haycarb PLC was present at the occasion as the keynote speaker and his insightful speech on digital transformation inspired the audience. The certificate awarding ceremony was graced by Dr. P. N. D. Fernando - Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, Prof. Ravi Dissanayake - Head of the Department of Marketing Management, Mr. S. Uditha Bandara - Coordinator of Diploma in Marketing, Mr. Nisal Gunawardane - Coordinator of Higher Diploma in Marketing, faculty members and non-academic staff.
