Sahurda -Phase 02

As part of the second phase of the project, the AHEAD team was planning to donate paint and painting items to the Sukitha Special School in Galpatha, as they had noticed that the school desk and chairs should be renovated to create a pleasant environment for the students to relax their minds and engage in educational activities. As a result of this idea, the Sahurda second phase was organized by the AHEAD team, and they found donations from Agio Tobacco Processing Company for this purpose. After that, the team went again to Sukitha Special School in Galpathatha on 20th March 2024 with sponsors, and they donated the paint and the painting items to the children. Donating paint and painting items to a disabled school is an act of generosity that can have a profound impact on both the students and the school community. Imagine the transformation that can occur when vibrant colors and artistic tools are introduced into an environment dedicated to nurturing the potential of students with disabilities. After all, the lecturers and sponsors also went on to see the classrooms and the activities that they engaged in at the school, and they had plenty of time filled with happiness with these children. The exceptional guidance provided by Ms. Madhavi Gunasekara, the Senior Treasurer of the AHEAD Student Association, was nothing short of an unwavering beacon.
