6th International Student Research Conference in Marketing (ISRCM)

The Department of Marketing Management of the University of Kelaniya has taken a number of initiatives to inculcate the research culture among the undergraduates and the International Student Research Conference in Marketing is one of the outcomes of these initiatives. Subsequently, the 6th International Student Research Conference in Marketing (ISRCM) was held virtually on 21st December 2021 under the theme of “Marketing in New Normal: Embracing Change and Transformation in Industry 4.0”.

ISRCM provided an excellent platform for the local and foreign undergraduates to disseminate the knowledge they have developed throughout the period of their undergraduate programme and their dissertation while giving them a tremendous opportunity to make a quality publication. Furthermore, the extraordinary presenters were recognized by the Best Presenter Award and Best Poster Presentation Award for their outstanding performance at the conference. Moreover, the keynote speech delivered by Mr. Sharangpani Pant, Commercial Leader of Global Clients, Retail Intelligence Unit, Nielsen South Asia added value to the conference.

The event was graced by Dr. P N D Fernando- Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies as the Chief Guest and Prof. Ravi Dissanayake- Head of the Department of Marketing Management, Dr. Ajith Medis- Conference Chair, Mr. Thilina Karunanayake- Conference Co-chair, Ms. Miyuru Guruge- Conference Secretary, faculty members of the Department of Marketing Management, academic and non-academic staff members of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies of the University of Kelaniya were present at the occasion.
