The Association of Commerce and Management Education (ACME), affiliated with the Department of Commerce and Financial Management, hosted its much-anticipated event, Tranze 2024, on the 30th of November. The event took place at the F4 Hall, bringing together students, faculty, and guests for a vibrant evening. This event marked its return after 2017 and was met with significant anticipation.

The Association of Business and Technology successfully held the Young Business Technology Entrepreneurial Researchers' Congress 2024 (YBTER) on 29th November 2024 at the ICT Auditorium. Themed "In Search of Startup Innovation," the event served as a platform for 3rd-year BT students to present their entrepreneurial ideas and solutions to current business and technological challenges.

The Finance Summit 2024, organized by the Students' Association of Financial Management, was successfully held on Wednesday, the 27th of November 2024, at the Sunil Shantha Auditorium, University of Kelaniya. This year’s summit revolved around the theme: “Numbers Unleashed: Exploring the Power of AI in Financial Reporting”, highlighting the transformative role of artificial intelligence in reshaping financial practices.

The Senfin | UoK Stock Market Challenge 2024, held on October 16th at the University of Kelaniya’s Dharmaloka Hall, brought together over 190 advanced-level students from across Sri Lanka for a highly competitive quiz event centred on stock market knowledge. This event is organized by the Students' Association of Financial Management, of the Department of Commerce and Financial Management in collaboration with Senfin Securities Limited and Senfin Asset Management as the main sponsors.
