The Senfin | UoK Stock Market Challenge 2024, held on October 16th at the University of Kelaniya’s Dharmaloka Hall, brought together over 190 advanced-level students from across Sri Lanka for a highly competitive quiz event centred on stock market knowledge. This event is organized by the Students' Association of Financial Management, of the Department of Commerce and Financial Management in collaboration with Senfin Securities Limited and Senfin Asset Management as the main sponsors.
Department of Commerce and Financial Management conducted the DCFM Job Fair 2024 on the 1st of February at the Dharmaloka Hall of the University of Kelaniya. The main objective of this event was to connect talented students with leading organizations in Sri Lanka. Fourteen reputed companies participated in the event to provide internship opportunities, and the event was open to all students, offering opportunities across a wide spectrum of disciplines.
Thirty learning partners in the first batch of Master of Business Studies – Chinese Intake (MBSC) conducted by the Department of Commerce and Financial Management graduated in the 140th General Convocation, University of Kelaniya. The ceremony was held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo, on 04th January 2024, marking a significant milestone for the first time in Sri Lanka.
The University of Kelaniya successfully hosted the Vice Chancellor's Awards ceremony on January 1, 2024, at Dharmaloka Hall, marking a noteworthy event to acknowledge exceptional achievements of the university staff. The Vice Chancellor's Awards function as a platform to honor individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and contribution to the university's mission of academic and research excellence.
