An MoU was signed between the University of Kelaniya and Colombo Stock Exchange on 02^nd December 2021 with the aim of appreciating and nurturing the Bachelor of Business Management Honours in Accountancy degree program while promoting collaborative research work between both institutions by capitalizing their integrative strengths. In essence, both institutions envisage to derive synergistic benefits out of their expertise knowledge. Accordingly, the MoU was signed with the participation of Senior Prof. Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor, University of Kelaniya, Dr. Narada Fernando, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, Prof. Dilrukshi Yapa Abeywardhana, Head, Department of Accountancy, Mr. Rajeeva Bandaranaike, Chief Executive Officer of Colombo Stock Exchange, Mr. Nishantha Hewavithana, Head of Research and Strategy, Colombo Stock Exchange, Professors, Senior Lecturers and Lecturers of the Department of Accountancy.
