Subject / Theoretical Knowledge |
Graduates of the DoA are expected to understand the thinking, research, theory and practice in the field of accountancy and appreciate the role of their discipline in its context. Further, graduates should be able to critically analyze data, make judgments and propose solutions to problems arising in the field. |

Graduates of the DoA are expected to be able to apply theory, analysis, research and creative skills to solve problems and make reasoned decisions. Further, the graduates are expected to possess ability to analyze issues logically, to challenge conventional assumptions, to consider different options and viewpoints, make informed decisions and act with flexibility, adaptability and creativity. |

Graduates of the DoA are expected to be able to receive and interpret information, express ideas meaningfully and share knowledge with diverse audiences in a range of mediums, media and formats. |

The graduates are expected to be able to establish a rapport and build collaborative relationships with individuals and groups as both a team leader and a team member. In recognition of the educational standards and quality of the Bachelor of Business Management Honors Degree in Accountancy programme, a number of local and international professional accounting bodies have been granted exemptions from their examinations.
