Department of Accountancy has obtained three gold medals with cash prizes for the degree programmes from the leading professional institutions in the field of Accounting and Finance. Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA) awards a gold medal with a cash prize to the highest GPA holder in the B. B. Mgt (Accountancy) degree. Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) offers a gold medal with a cash prize for the student who obtains the highest aggregate marks in internship in accounting and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) offer a gold medal with a cash prize for the best outstanding performance.
