Challenge 2023

The "Challenge 2023" held on the 13 th of September 2023 at the Cyber Ground of the University of Kelaniya was a remarkable collaborative effort of the Accountancy Students’ Association of the University of Kelaniya (ASAK), the Accounting Information Systems Students’ Association (AISSA), and the Forensic Accounting Students’ Association (FASA) of the Department of Accountancy (DoA), Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya. This Annual Sports Day was organized with the objective of enhancing the team spirit and the socio-emotional skills of the undergraduates. Senior Prof. Nilanthi De Silva, Vice Chancellor, University of Kelaniya was the Chief Guest of the event. Mr. Minod Bhanuka, one of the famous cricketers attended the event as a special invitee. The event was graced by Prof. W. M. C. B. Wanninayake, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, Professor D. K. Y. Abeywardhana, Head, Department of Accountancy, Professor K. K. Tilakasiri, Senior Student Counsellor of the Faculty, Senior Professors, Professors, Senior Lecturers, Lecturers, and enthusiastic undergraduates spanning all four years of the Department of Accountancy.
