The Department of Commerce and Financial Management (DCFM) proudly hosted ACME එක්ක Avurudu 2025 on the 25th of April 2025 at the Cybe Ground, University of Kelaniya. This colourful New Year celebration was organized by the Association of Commerce and Management Education (ACME) and commenced at 8.30 a.m. with the participation of both students and staff.
The event featured a wide range of traditional Avurudu games, cultural items, and fun activities that brought joy and excitement to all participants. It was a meaningful opportunity to experience Sri Lankan New Year traditions in a lively and inclusive environment.
The Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies attended as the Chief Guest and shared warm wishes while encouraging students to uphold cultural values and strengthen unity within the university community.
ACME එක්ක Avurudu 2025 was a successful and memorable event that reflected the spirit of celebration, unity, and cultural pride among the DCFM family.
