The Association of Business & Technology recently organized an Internet of Things (IoT) workshop, held on the 18th of May. The workshop aimed to equip DCFM undergraduates with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the evolving landscape of IoT technologies.
The event took place at the DCFM Smart Classroom. One of the highlights of the workshop was the hands-on session, where participants had the opportunity to work with IoT development kits and build their own IoT devices. Under the guidance of Mr. Prasanna Lakmal, lecturer attached to the DCFM, the students explored the process of connecting devices, collecting data, and analyzing the results. This event served as a stepping stone for DCFM undergraduates to embark on their journey as IoT professionals, prepared to contribute to the innovation and growth of the industry. As the world becomes increasingly connected, workshops like this play a vital role in preparing the next generation of professionals to harness the potential of IoT and contribute to a smarter and more interconnected future. This IoT workshop stands as a testament to the DCFM's dedication to empowering its students and fostering a culture of innovation.
