The Finance Summit 2024, organized by the Students' Association of Financial Management, was successfully held on Wednesday, the 27th of November 2024, at the Sunil Shantha Auditorium, University of Kelaniya. This year’s summit revolved around the theme: “Numbers Unleashed: Exploring the Power of AI in Financial Reporting”, highlighting the transformative role of artificial intelligence in reshaping financial practices.
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Professor Nilanthi De Silva, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, Mr. Bandara Wanninayake, the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, along with esteemed lecturers and other experts in the field of finance.
The summit was conducted in two phases: the CFO Forum and the 10th Launch of Finance Today Magazine. The CFO Forum, moderated by Dr. Erandi Abeywardana, featured an esteemed panel of experts:

The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Heshana Kuruppu, the President of CA Sri Lanka, who provided profound insights into leveraging artificial intelligence in financial reporting and leadership.
