Program Structure

MCOM degree program is designed as a two-year program. Year 1 comprises three trimesters with a total of 9 course units. Year 2 is totally devoted to the research component that candidates should carry out independently under an academic supervisor appointed by the program. A series of Seminars in Research is designed to guide the candidates to complete their research in time successfully.

 

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

 

PLO 1 :
Apply principles, concepts, models, and theories to analyze and solve business-related problems

PLO 2:
Conduct an in-depth analysis of the business environment to discover the trends, issues, and challenges impacting businesses.

PLO 3:
Review the impact of contemporary business issues such as ethics, culture, sustainability, digitalization and internationalization.

PLO 4:
Demonstrate an advanced understanding of research techniques applied in the fields of Commerce

PLO 5:
Evaluate competing views, ideas and empirical evidence on topics related to the fields of Commerce

PLO 6:
Critically analyze and evaluate business information to make informed decisions related to the fields of Commerce

PLO7:
Propose recommendations and solutions to issues and problems faced by stakeholders in the fields of Commerce

PLO 8:
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to specialist and non-specialist audience

PLO 9:
Plan and conduct a substantial piece of research independently within the given period.

PLO 10:
Demonstrate the capacity to work with others and in teams.

PLO 11:
Use digital tools to collect and analyze data, network, and communicate with peers and the wider community
