University of Kelaniya, Department of Finance Triumphs at Inter-University Debate Competition
We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Department of Finance team for emerging as the Winners of the MAGNATE 2024, Inter-University Debate Competition, organized by the Department of Finance, Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo. Our team triumph over 12 competing state universities.
The Grand Finale was held on September 13th at the East Wing Conference Hall, Faculty of Management and Finance.
Our victorious team members were:
1. Amani Najumudeen (Captain)

3. Nethmi Gunasignha
4. Pruthvi Wijesiri
5. Mohammed Faham
Special recognition goes to Amani Najumudeen, who was awarded Best Speaker, and Usman Ahamed, who was honored as the Most Popular Speaker.
