The Finance Summit was successfully held on 29th December 2021 with the Keynote Speech by Dr. Suborna Barua, Director of Fin2Tech Solutions Limited, an Associate Professor of Finance, Department of International Business, University of Dhaka; as well as Research

Fellow(Part-Time), Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market.

The event also had a panel discussion with the following industry experts; Mr. Aruna Alwis(Chief Executive Officer at CFA Sri Lanka, Former CEO OF Institute of Charted Accountants of Sri Lanka),Mr. Nuwan Withanage, (CFO, Softlogic Life Insurance PLC and Council Member of CA Sri Lanka), Mr. Nishan Fernando (Managing Director, BDO Consulting; Chairman, First Capital Holding PLC; Chair, AOSSG; IFRS Specialist, Former President of CA Sri Lanka).The panel discussion was moderated by Prof.C.N.Wickramasinghe, Department of Commerce and Financial Management. 

The second phase of this event was the "Finance Today" Magazine Launch. The 7th issue of the Finance Today magazine was launched under the theme of "Digital Optimization in Finance", with insights from leading corporate figures as well as articles by university lecturers and students. This magazine enables readers to discover new trends and contemporary issues in finance.
