MBFN 52033: Financial Modeling and Forecasting
This course module provides the financial modelling skills to analyse and manage the risks and business
performance in this turbulent business environment. This course module aims to identify the critical role of
the finance function in developing forecasting models, design and build sound financial forecasting models
in Excel, develop realistic forecasting arrays and models for different corporate and personal finance
decisions using the best structuring techniques, apply and analyse more complex issues in financial
forecasting such as real and nominal values, and rates, forecast income, cash flow statements and balance
sheet, interpret and analyse the key ratios used in a financial forecast.
MBFN 52043: International Finance
The international finance module is designed is designed to provide a comprehensive knowledge on
international monetary system and balance of payments, foreign exchange rates and markets, determination
of exchange rate, purchasing power parity, principles of exposure management, techniques of exposure
management, derivatives, international capital budgeting and international financing.

This module gives participants a comprehensive understanding of research methodology in conducting
rigorous and effective research. It broadly discussed theoretical approaches that are connected in
formulating the research problem, issue, and questions, conceptualizing the research problem, research
