The Inauguration Ceremony of the Master of Business Studies (MBS) 3rd batch was held on the 1st of January 2023 at A.T.H. Sunil Shantha Memorial Auditorium at the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies.
Department of Commerce and Financial Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya organized the inauguration ceremony to officially welcome the new learning partners to the MBS degree program and make them aware of life at UOK.
Ms. Thrimuthi Danushka (Group Manager – Human Resource, Ideal Group) a student of the 1st batch of the Master of Business Studies (MBS) delivered the speeches welcoming new students. The Chief Guest was Dr. Narada Fernando, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, and the Guest of Honor was Senior Professor N.A.K.P.J. Seneviratne, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Further, Dr. M.M.M. Shamil, Head of the Department of Commerce and Financial Management, Dr. Erandi Abeywardana, Coordinator of the Master of Business Studies, other academic staff members, and the new students of the Master of Business Studies (MBS) participated in this ceremony.
