Department of Commerce and Financial Management clearly identified that there is a pressing need for aligning the Departmental activities with the current trends in the world and the dynamic environment. The Department aims to achieve the multiple dimensions of learning outcomes covering the core areas of knowledge, skills and attitudes, values, professionalism, mindset and paradigms moving towards a pedagogical approach. The AHEAD grant which was awarded to the Department was used in the construction of Class Next, Innovation Lab and the Studio A1. The main aims of these additions to the Department are; strengthening online learner support & resources, strengthen students’ high level innovative and entrepreneurial skills, enhancing English Language proficiency through personality development, introducing innovative Double Blended Learning methodology, restructuring the assessment methods and criteria to enhance the reflective learning.
