Department of Accountancy is one of the five departments under the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya which offers three bachelor’s degrees, one master’s degree and the Higher Diploma in Business Accounting (HDBA) Programme.

Higher Diploma in Business Accounting is the only higher diploma programme offered by the Department of Accountancy for the students who have passed their G.C.E. (Advanced Level) giving a valuable opportunity to learn under the state university system and to obtain a qualification of SLQL 4.

Any student with the minimum qualification of G.C.E. (Advanced Level) can apply for the programme through the application process every year. The application notice will be available on the website and public media for applicants to refer.
