The annual Vesak Dansala which is organized by the Accountancy Students’ Association (ASAK) of the Department of Accountancy was held on 06th and 07th of May at the university premises. Manioc and ice-cream was given on the above mentioned two consecutive days.

The event was graced by, Dr.D.M.Semasinghe, Dean-Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, Dr.M.W.Madurapperuma, Head-Department of Accountancy, Mr.Prabath Perera, Senior Treasurer-ASAK, Lecturer-Department of Accountancy, Senior Lecturers, Lectures and the undergraduates of the Department of Accountancy.

This was the first time that the Dansala was organized for two consecutive days. There was a large queue every time till the end of the Dansala, implying the responsiveness to the efforts taken by the ASAK committee for their tiresome efforts, being achieved a great success.
