MoU Signed Between University of Kelaniya and LOLC Technologies Limited

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the University of Kelaniya and LOLC Technologies Limited on 12^th February, 2020 at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office.

The objective of the MoU was to install and maintain ACL Analytics software in ICT Centre of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies (FCMS). ACL Analytics software is broadly used for business analytics and decision-making process in business entities locally and internationally. Senior Lecturer Dr. Mudith Sujeewa has obtained 200 licenses of ACL Analytics software free of charge. This MoU will facilitate training lecturers in FCMS by LOLC Technologies Limited. Subsequently, undergraduates of FCMS will be taught this software under respective course units in their degree programmes.

Prof. D.M. Semasinghe, Vice Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya graced this special event as the Chief Guest. Senior Lecturer Dr. Narada Fernando, Dean- Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, Senior Lecturer Dr. Kamal Tilakasiri, Head- Department of Accountancy, Senior Lecturer Dr. Ravi Disanayake, Head- Department of Marketing Management, Senior Lecturer Dr. Mudith Sujeewa, academic staff members, Chamini Attanayke, Chief Operating Officer- LOLC Technologies Limited along with two top Executives of LOLC Technologies Limited participated in the event.
