Introduction

The Diploma in BIS is introduced to train persons who wish to pursue a career in the growing Information Technology (IT) industry.  As a result of stiff competition in the market, all forms of business require Information Technology professionals.  Further, the employment market seeks enterprising young individuals who possess a good background in IT knowledge to be recruited into junior level positions. The Diploma’s holistic approach seeks to foster business application knowledge among its learners and to help cope with issues in the business arena.

  • To strengthen the career prospects of school leavers who do not obtain admission into a university.
