Workshop on “Table Etiquette” for first year undergraduates

The first year undergraduates of Department of Accountancy of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya organized the workshop on “Table Etiquttee” for consecutive third year.  The program was held on 07th December, 2018 at Pegasus Reef Hotel, Wattala with the objective of enhancing the professional and social success among the students. The target audience was first year undergraduates who are reading, Bachelor of Business Management (Honors) Degree in Accountancy and the workshop was conducted under the course unit of Business skills Development (BACC 12422).  The program was conducted by Mr. Anura Dissanayake, Lecturer, Food and Beverage Operation, Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management in effective way. The Head of the Department of Accountancy, Dr. K.K Thilakasiri, Prof. P.M.C. Thilakarathne, Course Coordinator - Business Skills Development, Dr. W.V.A.D. Karunarathne, Dr. Lakshan Attanayake, Dr. Nisansala Wijekoon, Mr. Prabath Perera, Ms. Dilini Aruppala, Mr. M.D. Pubudu Kaushalya, Ms. G.M.H.P.K Rathwatta and  Ms. Ajani Fernando from  the academic staff of the Department of Accountancy and first year undergraduates participated for the event. The event was very successful as students were able to acquire practical exposure and best practices in table etiquettes.
