The Inaugural Ceremony – MBM in Marketing (5th Intake)

Master of Business Management (MBM) in Marketing which guarantees a definite academic edge embedded with professional exposure aiming to create Strategists with the right set of skills, attitude, ethics and sound theoretical knowledge that can be applied in the dynamic business environment to make strategically driven decisions. This two-year degree program is developed in line with the learning outcomes that will meet the graduate who is competent enough to make strategic decisions, put knowledge into practice in the workplace and contribute to sustainable development through marketing ethics and practices. 

The inauguration ceremony of Masters in Business and Management (MBM) in Marketing (5th Intake), offered by the Faculty of Commerce and Management studies, University of Kelaniya was held on 14th November 2020, via Zoom

The ceremony was presided over by the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies (FCMS), Dr. Narada Fernando.  Prof. Ariyarathne Jayamaha graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Karthik Elangovan, Director/ Chief Innovation & Emergent Business Officer of CDB. Head of the Department Dr. Ravi Dissanayake did the Welcome speech at the Ceremony and being the Coordinator of the Programme, Prof. Bandara Wanninayake proposed the Vote of Thanks at the Ceremony. This ceremony was participated by Mr. Thilina Dk, Technical Coordinator of the MBM Programme, the academic and non-academic staff members of the FCMS and the new candidates of the MBM in Marketing Programme.
