Future Marketer Association

Future Marketer Association (FMA) is one of the most active student bodies in the University of Kelaniya. Being the official student body of the Department of Marketing Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya; FMA is on the journey of developing marketing undergraduates into professionals in the business world through creating a platform for them to develop their leadership skills, creativity, team work as well as the most essential of all soft skills.

The Annual Fun Day, Field Visits, Field Surveys, Guest Lectures, Fund Raising Campaigns, Trips, Sport Activities, etc are all opportunities for the members of FMA to interact socially through building networks while developing their skills.The Future Marketer Journal is published each year by  FMA in order to build interrelationships and bridge the gap between the private sector and university undergraduates via joining hands with the corporate sector. The magazine enriches its readers each year with an exciting collection of articles based on the dynamic business environment and its players. Future Marketers Association is unique and a proactive student association and a also trend setter in its acts which is seeking to serve its student community by being different from the rest with the motto of “surpassing all boundaries”, the members of FMA are adding value to their academic life through various activities which run throughout the academic year. Stylish Marketer – the annual university fashion show is one of the main events organized by FMA each year with the objective of developing the students’ ability to manage a mega event through collaborative coordination with industry resource persons. The Executive Series is again one of the continuous events conducted by the members of FMA, where they try to grab the industry exposure through joined conversation with successful corporate players.
