R.M.B.L Ranasinghe currently a 3rd year undergraduate of the Department of Marketing Management, University of Kelaniya is a two-year colors man who was awarded university colors in the years 2018 and 2019. He was honored as the best badminton player of the year at the University colors award ceremony

for two consecutive years and was also awarded as the 2nd Runners Up in Badminton Mixed Doubles event at the 45th National Sport Festival in 2019
