Rajeev Fernando, undergraduate of Department of Marketing Management, University of Kelaniya had showcased his passion for sports from the inception. His successes in the field is quite imminent with 3 Colors Awards for Tennis, Football, and Scrabble. His potential has reached its peak in the year 2014/15

where he was able to bag Three Colors awards for the aforementioned sports and he was the “Winner of Most Colors Awards (3) in men’s category” for the year 2014/15. He has captained the University Scrabble Team in the year of 2014/15 and in the reign of his Captaincy, for the first time in University History, Scrabblers of University of Kelaniya received colors awards and he was instrumental in introducing Scrabble to the entire University System of Sri Lanka by hosting the first-ever inter-university Scrabble Tournament- “The Spell”. He also represented the University Tennis Team in UITM Sports Fiesta held in Malaysia
