This course module is designed to provide a comprehensive knowledge on how to design, organize, implement, maintain and evaluate a project.

By the end of this course unit students should be able to:
  • explain basic concepts of Project Management
  • use tools and techniques for Project Management
  • prepare a project report

Course Content : Introduction to Project Management, Project Management Processes, Project Integration Management, Project Scope Management, Project Time Management, Project Cost Management, Project Quality Management, Project Human Resource Management, Project Communication Management, Project Risk Management, Project Procurement Management.

Method of Teaching & Learning:

Lectures, Laboratory work and class room discussions.

Scheme of Evaluation:

Assignments, Presentations and End semester examination.

The weights given to each component of the evaluation method is announced at the commencement of the module.
