The University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka calls for proposals for the 1st International Student Conference on Business- (ISCB-2013) from the undergraduate students. This is organized in line with the 4th International Conference on Business and Information-(ICBI-2013) that calls papers from the academics, researchers, and the practitioners from diverse fields for fruitful knowledge sharing. Simultaneously, students who have produced research outcomes through their dissertation, case studies, and assignments may send us their proposal/papers to ISCB under the following areas:

For today’s business around the world turbulence has become the normality and that the businesses seek for innovative solutions to face their peculiar challenges. Uncertainty and dynamism in the business environments and localized approaches in business has hugely relinquished some traditional business and management practices while the theme of globalization has now been a question in most parts of the world.  Conferences on 21st challenges are immense. However, today we have stepped into an era to dedicate all efforts on innovations, research and practices that can sustain the growth of business in their own contexts. As it did in the past, the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies of the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka is very pleased to invite all scholars, practitioners, researchers and students to share their research outcomes, findings, innovations, and practices for developing business for sustainable growth.

Papers can be sent under the given tracks mentioned below. However, the papers which may not fall under the given track may also be considered if they relate to the conference theme.

Usual studies are carried out in the context of organizations. However, ICBI-2013 encourages papers that study relevant phenomena not only in organizational level but also in individual, social, national, regional and global levels. Intersectional and interdisciplinary studies which contributes to develop the commerce and management field are highly encouraged.
